The younger generation loves custom T-shirts. Hey when we were the younger generation so did we. I always had a collection of T’s with the name, picture and logo of my favorite band, sport or tv show plus a number of “other”ones that either made a statement or were just to attract attention.
If your getting ready to design a custom T-shirt for your business, band or other public entity remember what attracted us to T shirts a few generations ago. Fancy Lettering, Neat designs and drawings or maybe a picture and lets not forget my current reason for wearing a printed T-Shirt, self expression especially politically.
If the shirt is to sell then invest in quality artwork, professional photography and high end materials that won’t shrink or fade. Maybe even order them already folded and wrapped in a professional Mylar bag. If they are to be used as cheapo advertising or other type of giveaways then save some money but don’t forget they still need to be attractive to the wearer or your advertising budget spent on printed T-shirts will have been wasted.
Save by using generic graphics and type styles and nix the colors saving the extra monies from that for a better quality shirt. Keep your design principals intact but look for the cheapest of the best not the worst of the cheap in material and shirt producers.
